DALLAS, TX – June 08, 2017 – Biometric Signature ID, the leading developer of biometric ID verification software solutions, announced the addition of Ron Heinz and Walter Hamilton to the Board of Directors. Both board members are an invaluable addition to the BSI team and bring with them years of industry knowledge and experience.

Ron Heinz joins the BSI Board of Directors with several years of experience in the Venture Capital industry. Currently he leads the investment and research efforts at Sweetwater Capital Partners. Prior to Sweetwater, Heinz was a Senior Associate at Signal Peak Ventures, where he led the performance / portfolio management team for a portfolio of late- stage and end-of- life technology and life science assets. Prior to Signal Peak, he was a Private Equity Analyst at StepStone, where he focused on European private equity investments. Heinz has spent time working with German e-commerce companies for Paua Ventures in Berlin and completed consulting engagements with TRUMPF GmbH. Heinz holds an M.B.A. from the University of Mannheim and graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Villanova University. He is fluent in both English and German.

Walter Hamilton is a Senior Consultant with Identification Technology Partners (IDTP), an identity management consulting firm. He joins the BSI Board of Directors as a recognized industry authority and subject matter expert on biometric technology.  He completed his seventh elected term as Chairman and President of the International Biometrics + Identity Association (IBIA), a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit trade association that advocates the use of technology to determine identity and enhance security, privacy, productivity and convenience. Currently, he serves as Vice Chairman of IBIA.

In his work with IDTP, Hamilton is actively involved in supporting government clients in implementing biometric technology in the maritime and aviation transportation sectors.  Prior to joining IDTP in 2006, he served as Vice President and General Manager; Biometric Solutions for Saflink Corporation.  Prior to joining Saflink in 1995, Mr. Hamilton completed a distinguished 30-year career with Unisys Corporation.
